At last. Greater Auckland now has merchandise for y’all to enjoy!
We’ve launched a wee shopfront over at Digitees, where you can find just the thing for you and all the urbanists in your life (send one to your favourite elected member!). Plus a little bit of every purchase helps support the mission. We know you want to!
NOTE: this is a print-on-demand service, so returns aren’t possible – be sure to check sizing before you click “go”.
We plan to add to the range over time, but check out our starter selection for now:

First out of the gate – because all of us here wanted one for ourselves – is a CRL-inspired design. We just couldn’t resist representing the fab four stations in the classic list of four layout (see here for the 25 year history of this iconic form).

It looks great on a tee…

…and it’s equally rad on a tote!

We’re also workshopping taglines that get to the core of our kaupapa. There’s a ton of inspiration in the wider world of nonprofit urbanism (e.g. our see-if-it-lands riff on Better Streets Chicago is below). We’re ardent fans of the War on Cars podcast and merch. And even some official city merch is getting pretty saucy these days… dare we go there??
Love to hear your thoughts on snappy slogans and catchy catchphrases that sum up the Greater AKL philosophy!

Meanwhile, we’ve also put together a few niche tell-it-like-it-is options for the truly hard-core (apologies for the model):

Talk about merch madness! There are more designs, and all have been exhaustively tested by our hardworking team. We’re keen to hear what designs and texts you’d like to see (and options, e.g. kids’ sizes?). Get amongst!
YES PLEASE – TAKE ME TO THE GREATER AUCKLAND SHOPFRONT NOW
PS if anyone is a design whiz and would like to lend a hand to help us smarten up the shopfront, we’d love to hear from you!
With special thanks to Arch of Inhouse Design, Carol Green, and Rainer from No7.
Important things to note before you order:
- The T-shirts are from ASColour, in a glorious range of colours and various sizes.
- All merch has a Greater Auckland logo on the reverse (top back of the T-shirts).
- Digitees is a print-on-demand service, which means exchanges are not possible.
- So, please double-check the size charts and your measurements when choosing your size.
- Turnaround time for printing is 3-5 working days, so we suggest allowing around a week for arrival.
- Shipping is handled by Digitees, and there are options for express and international delivery.

That RoNS shirt looks pretty good, although not t-shirt weather atm
Rad.
How about one with the RTN on it or is that too hard?
I’m keen to do the RTN as it should be, ART, and leave AT to do their actual version, if they wish.
Thoughts?
Yes, good idea.
Yup. I’d get it.
Love one from Liverpool ages ago where all the stations were represented by a local personality, from Pete Wylie to Ken Dodd via Carl Jung!
I’d definitely get it. Even if it’ll only come true in 2100 or later 😀
Awesome. Will be eagerly awaiting on the colourful station boardings graph in a shirt
What about a song, an urban equivalent of “Taumarunui on the main trunk line”.
Can we do a Transit Map ? Might need to be 3-colour minimum? Do-able?
Hats, Patrick?
Would love a GA baseball cap, not sure Digitees does them tho…
>Auckland (Greater than Auckland) would look good on a shirt
Greater>Auckland, even
How about a red cap with Make Auckland Great Again on it. Too soon?
