And on the subject: Waterfront Auckland, AC, and AT really need to quickly provide some high volume and and high quality Transit services to Wynyard as currently most of these people are driving and parking on building sites about to be developed. If they don’t get on with it fast the pressure to fill up the waterfront with parking buildings will become irresistible. And completely tragic.
They also must protect the route for the North Shore Line and the site for the Wynyard station. A good job for Chris Darby to be pushing.
Heard today that is really cheap to park adjacent to the Wynyard waterfront restaurants too. Free for first hour, and $2 after that! Hopefully the Daldy St linear park will make it a pleasurable stroll from the NEX Fanshawe St stop and even the Link Vic Park stop. Those stops should be renamed to people are aware that they are Wynyward stops too. This park should be great so people realise that Te Wero bridge isn’t the only way to get there. May encourage more to take PT.
