The good news is with Wellington pushing for light rail and Christchurch apprently going to be doing the same it wont just be Auckland. He’ll look increasingly out of touch.
He is out of touch with the population but both Joyce and those he represent are still very successful at shaping the terms of the debate. All the talk is about how can we find some money from somewhere, not why is all this money being spent in the wrong area. In the mainstream media that is.
