For those slightly tired of endless analyses of the CBD Rail Tunnel’s business case, here’s a great video from the “e2 transport” series – which can often be seen on TVNZ7 at 7.30pm on Monday nights.
It is interesting to note that on a lot of big picture issues – whether it be addressing climate change or changing transport patterns, it often seems to be city level governments that lead the way.

Interesting indeed. Of course National are about to shortly nix TVNZ 7 so the general public won’t be able to see stuff like this any more.

And is it too stupid to ask why Auckland isn’t on this list? Or whether there is any intention of joining?
I believe its due to the fact that Auckland is a small city and C40 is ‘The Large Cities Climate Leadership Group’. However it would be nice if Auckland could have some sort of membership.
