This top part of Albert Park is really lovely. Pity about where it meets Victoria St where the paths are a real mess, which stops it being used more by people coming from the Victoria St area for lunch. Weirdly there are 2 parallel paths here, both of which have steps, very frustrating for disabled people and cyclists. One nice wide shared path would be really handy for making this a cycling route. These paths not a useless as one that meets Wellesley St than randomly stops and leads people across mud and branches for 30m.

I just love all the palm trees there are in Auckland. So beautiful. 🙂
What few people know is that Albert Park was named after one of the early Korean settlers, one Albert Park.
Famous for his novel piercings.
People would come from far and wide to see those novels being pierced. Handy that Whitcoulls was just down the street!
